FORT Structures is a growing structural engineering firm specializing in creative structural engineering. We focus on High-End Custom Residential homes, Commercial Construction, Adaptive Reuse, and Urban Infill projects throughout Central Texas.

We are looking for a Structural BIM Designer/Modeler with 2 to 5 years of structural BIM experience with the desire to learn and grow with our company. You will work on multiple BIM projects of various types, setup projects on your own and work along-side an engineer to develop drawings in collaboration with the client. Personal time management, attention to detail, a willingness to help other team members when needed and an approachable and service oriented attitude are essential.

You will be collaborating on all types of structures, from tiny houses to complex residential renovations to large commercial developments and everything in between. A selection of our recent projects include: AIA-award winning residences, renovation to a 3 story historic masonry building, new student housing complex, art sculptures, a modular-constructed hotel, a large hill country wedding venue, and a new 3D concrete printed house.

Ideally, you are well versed in Revit/BIM Software as well as AutoCAD. Experience in detailing all types of material (concrete, wood, steel, masonry). Experience with residential wood framing and detailing is preferred.
